LOSS OF USE ASSESSMENTS

Loss of Use is the time period in which you are without the use of your vehicle because of damage and subsequent repairs. If it's not in your driveway and you're not able to start your vehicle and drive it as you please, you're entitled to loss of use.

Even if you received a rental vehicle, you're entitled to loss of use unless you were given the exact same year, make, and model vehicle while you are without use of your own.

Loss of Use is calculated by multiplying the number of days with the amount it would cost to rent your vehicle per diem.
